 Why “The Roaming Rise”?

In fly fishing, a rise is that magical moment when a trout breaks the surface — a sign of life, connection, and timing. To us, it also symbolizes something deeper: the joy of movement, discovery, and being present in the wild.

We chose this name to capture both our love for the water and the freedom we feel on the road.

Our Setup

We travel in with our Abbey Spectrum 535, a tourer that’s become both our basecamp and our sanctuary. It’s equipped to take us off-grid, yet cozy enough to call home during long evenings after a day on the river.

Every month, we head out on a new micro-adventure — somewhere in the UK where we can cast lines, chase stories, and breathe deep.
